My scope of expertise over the past decade is working with child and adult survivors that have experienced childhood sexual abuse, or domestic violence. Trauma, Attachment Difficulties, Anxiety & Depression
Dr. Kasper’s is an attachment, development theorist whose research examined the importance of attachment in early childhood with a parent or primary caregiver, and its impact on adult relationships, as well as, a person’s ability to regulate their emotions.
Treatment Approach
Dr. Kasper applies a trauma-informed approach based on an attachment, development perspective. Treatment is individualized based on your specific needs in order that patients may experience the benefits of counseling as quickly as possible. Once you have met for an assessment and determined your treatment goals together, Dr. Kasper will discuss the best therapeutic approach(s) for positive outcomes. She is trained in several treatment modalities including but not limited to Non-Directive Play Therapy, Sand-Tray play therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Attached Based Therapy (Neufeld approach), Observed and Experiential Integration (OEI – similar to EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, psycho-dynamic therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. Although we do not accept insurance, you may be able to receive reimbursement for out-of-network services by submitting a superbill (which we will provide) to your insurance company. We are happy to discuss this process with you although we cannot guarantee your insurance will cover the cost of services.
Do you provide telehealth?
We provide telehealth services only.
What are your fees?
Session fees are $300/50-minutes. We have a limited number of sliding scale openings. The cost of the first intake session is $325 for 90 minutes. A $50 fee is required for the first appointment which is applied to the intake session.
How long does treatment last?
Treatment length will vary based upon treatment goals and symptom severity. However, it is common for treatment to last between 6-20 sessions.
